Store Closing Announcement

Dear friends,
With heavy hearts we must announce that Ekavi Boutique will close permanently.
This was a difficult decision to make, but the current events have made it impossible for our business to continue.
It was a daily pleasure to work with our loving and loyal community for many years. We will remain forever grateful for the support we received and the good laughs we had together in the store. We were so honored to be part of your success, as we helped customers dress for so many important moments of their lives.
Ekavi opened in 1973 and was known as "the best kept secret" in New York City. Our boutique was frequented by style and quality conscious clientele for nearly 50 years. Ekavi found a loyal following within the neighborhood, and became a destination for visitors from around the world who would make a point to visit on their trips to the city.
Founder Tina Thedorou's vision was to bring European clothing from small independent designers, specializing in Italian fashion. She was at the forefront in introducing European style to New York City. Her impeccable taste and understanding in design, cuts and fabrics appealed to a diverse and international clientele, which naturally grew due to Ekavi’s location near the international consulates and United Nations Headquarters.
We hope that you continue to enjoy the clothes, as we enjoyed bringing them to you. There are so many good memories and we will forever cherish them.
Warm wishes to all,
Ekavi team
